PARENT PLAYBOOK
We know that sending your kid to camp takes trust. That’s why we’ve dialed in every detail—from certified coaches to secure check-ins. Your job is easy: drop them off, pick them up tired, and watch their game transform. Here is everything you need to know before day one.
HOW DO YOU HANDLE CAMPER SAFETY?
Safety is our number one priority. All our coaches are certified, background-checked, and first-aid ready. We maintain a tight 8:1 camper-to-coach ratio to ensure everyone is supervised and actively learning.
WHAT AGE GROUPS CAN JOIN?
Our camps are designed for young athletes ages 5 to 10. We group players by age and skill level on day one so everyone gets the right challenge and maximum court time.
WHAT GEAR DOES MY KID NEED TO BRING?
Just basketball shoes, comfortable athletic wear, and a large water bottle. We provide the basketballs, all training equipment, and their official camp jersey on the first evening!
WHAT ARE THE DROP-OFF & PICK-UP TIMES?
Evening drop-off is between 6:15 and 6:30 PM. Pick-up is at 8:00 PM sharp. We use a secure sign-in and sign-out protocol every single day to ensure every camper gets home safely.
THE START OF SOMETHING BIG AT CROSS ROADS!
This basketball camp is our church’s very first Upward Sports event, but it’s just the beginning. In the latter half of 2026, we are launching full Soccer and Basketball leagues!
